We have all been there, getting completely caught up in a world of enchantment with Harry and Hermione. Naturally, you would want to be Harry. After all, being the Chosen One comes with a lot of perks. But there are several Harry Potter costume ideas to choose from. First is the long, black Gryffindor robe that you can buy in adult and children's sizes. The Gryffindor robe is the most basic thing you will need. In fact, you are sure to recreate any character from the Gryffindor house with the robe at hand. You just have to dye your hair red if you want to be one of the Weasleys or rumple your hair to make it big if you want to be Hermione.

Considering the popularity, it is most likely that you would find Ron and Hermoine, or even a Dumbldore and Voldermort too somewhere in the Halloween party. You can initiate your mini club of Harry Potter buffs, and play your characters throughout. Do refresh your knowledge from the book, so that no matter what, you remain the undisputed Harry fan.

Of course, you can also portray Harry in his crimson Quidditch robes and a number of necessary accessories to complete the look. The officially-licensed Quidditch costume looks exactly like Harry's robe in the movie, long and flowing with an attached hood and yellow stripes on the sleeves. The Gryffindor house crest is emblazoned on the left chest. If you really want to be the ultra-talented Gryffindor Quidditch team captain, make sure you also get a broom and a Quidditch helmet for your child.

Do not forget to polish your school shoes. While Harry will wear grey trousers, Ginny will wear a grey skirt. Having a wand along just completes the look of your Halloween costumes design.

Halloween is just around the corner, so don't be caught in the dark as a "Muggle". Join the gang from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this Halloween with Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley Costumes.

Young witches and warlocks can trick or treat with their official Hogwarts robes, scarves, beanies and ties from the Houses of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw,or Hufflepuff. No Harry Potter costume is complete without a proper wand and witches hat. To complete Hermione Granger's costume, do not forget to get the tangled mass of hair wig. Your little wizards may even want to get in a game of Quidditch on Halloween with the Golden Snitch and Quidditch Goggles and Robes.
Youngsters can even get in the act with an adorable Hedwig the owl costume. I found Dobbie, the house elf mask very realistic. For the Demon in your child, check out the Dementor, Death Eater or Lord Voldemort Costumes, complete with masks and gnarly hands.

4. Cho Chang. She has long straight black hair. If your hair isn't long enough you could get some hair extentions. This is probably the best character for you to go as. But you could always buy a wig and go as someone like Hermione or Ginny but lots of people would probably dress up as those two.

5. Snape. That could be fun to cosplay with your bellatrix. She could run around killing you and screaming "I killed Sirius black!! ect" or just screw it and go as harry

Of course, there are still other characters, such as Bellatrix, hemione, ron, neville, a teacher, a hipogriff, owner of the hogsheade who is a girl sitting at the back of the class. As a matter of face, that is the joy of cosplay, you don't need to look the same as the character, as long as you are having fun. People can recognize you.
